Stellar Maze is a first-person puzzle adventure set within the mythical Labyrinth of the Minotaur. You play as Ariadne, who after helping Theseus defeat the creature is betrayed and left behind in the depths of the maze.

Even without the Minotaur, the labyrinth remains alive and ever shifting, altering its paths and hiding ancient secrets. To escape, you must solve constellation-based puzzles, using the stars as your guide to uncover the mysteries that keep the labyrinth in motion.

Stellar Maze has been publicly available on itch.io since January 21st, 2025.

My Role

  • Mechanics Designer responsible for designing, implementing, and iterating on the game’s core mechanics.

  • Puzzle Designer creating constellation-based puzzles, defining their logic, flow, and integration within the labyrinth’s progression.

  • Gameplay Designer defining interactions, puzzle flow, and visual feedback within the first-person experience.

  • Level Design Support assisting with layouts and spatial composition to ensure clarity, navigation, and puzzle readability.

  • 3D Modeler producing key environment assets and elements that support both the narrative and gameplay systems.
  • Testing and Iteration conducting internal tests and adjusting difficulty, pacing, and clarity of visual cues.
