Lady Umbrella is a 3D action-adventure shooter in which the player takes the role of special agent Francesca De Angelis (aka Lady Umbrella) who, while infiltrating the last mafia family in Italy, is betrayed and incriminated by her partner and must now clear her name by avoiding arrest from her own agency and defeating the mafia using her main weapon: a shotgun umbrella that functions as a shield when opened, as a shotgun when closed, and includes multiple gadgets.


The game is Steam-ready since October 17th, 2025.

My Role

  • Designed core gameplay mechanics, defining game pillars, pacing, and player loops.

  • Created and balanced the main weapon’s mechanics, upgrade system, and overall game economy.

  • Developed the enemy turn system, improving visibility, timing, and combat rhythm.

  • Designed Level 2 (Art Gallery) and contributed to the tutorial and Level 1, focusing on readability and player guidance.

  • Designed combat encounters, tuning enemy behavior, damage, and spawn density.

  • Applied data-driven iteration, using in-engine tools and Excel, plus testing and bug reporting.
